The American Language Program at Columbia University offers several language courses throughout the year. The Fall term is open to incoming master’s students, admitted General Studies students who have tested into ALP level 9, and incoming Columbia LLM students. Other enrolled Columbia students can take English 101, which focuses on rhetoric and grammatical accuracy. Other classes teach the basics of speaking and writing, and teach students how to monitor their grammar and sounds.

The ALP offers two different types of classes:

Summer Intensive and Academic Preparation. During the summer, students take an Advanced Academic Preparation course that lasts seven weeks and the Summer English for Professional Purposes course, which is three weeks long. The Summer Advanced Academic English for Graduate Students course is designed specifically for incoming Columbia University master’s students, which means it’s specifically designed for the students who are beginning their master’s program in the fall.

The ALP at Columbia University also offers an intensive summer course in English. The Advanced Academic Preparation course lasts seven weeks. The Summer English for Professional Purposes course lasts three weeks. The Summer Advanced Academic English for Graduate Students course is designed for incoming Columbia University students beginning their master’s program in the fall. These courses are designed for students who will be studying Spanish at Columbia. The course can be taken by any student who wishes to learn the language.

The program is designed for students with limited English proficiency. The curriculum is structured to meet the needs of international business students. In addition to this, the program offers an online course for ALP students to practice the language they study in a real-world setting. The Summer Intensive program allows students to study in their own time, and they can design meetings according to their own needs. There is also the option to meet on a weekly basis with a partner.

The ALP’s summer intensive program has a project-based curriculum

Students in Levels 3-9 are required to complete a written or spoken project that explores the topic. At the end of the course, students present their projects at a Project Fair. However, students should keep in mind that the Summer Intensive program’s tuition is subject to change. You should consult with your school’s admissions office for information regarding the fees for the Summer Intensive.

The ALP’s Summer Intensive program focuses on a project-based curriculum. In Levels three and four, students will focus on a topic of their choice. The Summer Intensive program also offers a variety of language courses. The ALP’s English Language Institute offers intermediate to advanced-level courses online. The English Language Institute also offers a three-week course, called the Summer Advanced Academic Preparation Course. These two courses are designed to help students prepare for the graduate coursework at Columbia. In the fall, the ALP’s International Program will offer a course in Spanish.

The ALP offers a summer program in English and Spanish
