The International Sunday School Committee is made up of 22 denominations. They meet annually and work on developing six-year outlines around biblical themes. For African-American congregations, the International Sunday School Committee is working on outlines for the year 2004-2010. This is a free resource that can be used to teach the entire Bible to your adult Sunday school students.

The Legacy Collection provides Bible-based, culturally relevant curriculum. The Sunday school account is free to use and produced by the Church of God in Christ Publishing House. Each year, the Church of God in Christ publishes the church’s annual commentary. The Legacy Collection has over a dozen different books, including a seven-year series of lessons. The books are free to download and use, and are available for free online.

There are also several lesson study outline books available for use in international sunday school curriculum. One of the most popular Bible commentary books is the Standard Lesson Commentary. With 52 weeks of study in a single volume, this book combines thorough Bible study with relevant examples and questions. The Standard Lesson Commentary is also free and available in many languages. The Sandarsini publication was first published in 1911. It contains articles and lesson notes for Sunday school teachers. It also includes the Centralized Exam for Class X.

The International Sunday School Lesson is a curriculum for children based on the Bible. Several publishers use it. Each cycle covers a different theme. For example, the first cycle of the Generations of Grace curriculum features a single lesson on Proverbs. The other cycle uses the Pentateuch, 2 Samuel, Prophets, Gospels, Acts, and Revelation as its primary text.
