The SITAF project, which ran during the second semester of the 2012/2013 academic year, recruited candidates through an online questionnaire. They were asked questions about their level of English and French language proficiency, their preferred tandem partner, and their interests and hobbies. In the end, they were paired with French and English speakers with similar backgrounds and characteristics. The results are shown below.
